HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY HAT?
If you want your hat to outlive you, you better take good care of it.
DO´S
Handle your hat by the crown with care or by the brim as close to the crown as possible.
When you want to give your hat some rest, put it in a hatbox, hang it on a hook from the back side of the hat or lay it on a flat surface upside down, resting on the crown.
When your hat gets wet leave it to dry at room temperature.
Brush your hat now and then with a bristle hat brush by using short strokes and following the natural direction of the fiber (clockwise is most common).
DON’TS
Do not grab your hat in the front pinching the dents, or by the edge of the brim.
Never leave your car in the hat or your hat in the car in the heat.
Try to avoid wearing your hat in intense heat or wet weather.
When your hat gets wet do not put it close to a heater, and don't you dare to use a hair dryer: your impatience will distort the form of your hat.
